Aluminium solar mounting systems.
The structure behind every solar array — engineered for tiled, trapeze and flat roofs. Extruded in-house, supplied bespoke or as modular components, delivered across the UK and Europe.
The structure under the system — not the system itself.
The aluminium mounting system
- ✓ Rails, hooks, brackets and end/mid clamps — extruded in-house
- ✓ H-type and L-type systems for tiled & trapeze roofs
- ✓ Ballasted and tilted structures for flat roofs
- ✓ Connectors, screws and accessories as a matched kit
- ✓ Custom profiles drawn to your project’s load and span
The electrical side of the array
- × PV panels or modules
- × Inverters, optimisers or batteries
- × DC/AC cabling and electrical balance-of-system
- × On-site installation labour
- × We stay in our lane — and make it the strongest part of the job
Pick your roof.
We have the system.
H-Type — Tiled & Trapeze Roof Mounting
Hook-and-rail system for pitched tiled and trapeze sheet roofs. Designed for fast, repeatable installs with fully clamped module fixing.
- Roof hooks + H rails
- End & mid clamps
- Tile and trapeze variants
- Pre-assembled hardware
Flat Roof — Tilted & Ballasted Structures
Adjustable tilt frames for flat commercial and industrial roofs, with penetration-free ballasted options where the membrane must stay untouched.
- Adjustable tilt angles
- Ballasted / fixed options
- Commercial & industrial
- Membrane-safe design
L-Type — Tiled & Trapeze Roof Mounting
L-foot mounting for direct fixing to trapeze and tiled surfaces — the low-profile choice where rail height needs to stay minimal.
- Direct L-foot fixing
- Low profile build height
- Tile and trapeze variants
- Rapid installation
Accessories · Connectors · Screws
Clamps, splices, grounding and fixings — matched to each system so every delivery arrives as a complete, install-ready kit.
- Rail splices & connectors
- Grounding components
- A2 stainless fixings
- System-matched kits
Made by the people who make the metal.
Extrusion in-house
From die design to finished rail, the whole chain is ours. No middle-man markup, no quality hand-off, one accountable supplier.
Engineered to load
Every structure is sized for the project’s wind and snow load, span and tilt — built for a 15-year-plus design life, not a catalogue shortcut.
Bespoke or modular
Take standard modular components off the shelf, or have a profile drawn one-to-one for your array. Mix both in a single order.

Questions installers ask us first.
No — and that’s deliberate. Front Solar manufactures the aluminium mounting and racking structure only: rails, hooks, brackets, clamps and the fixings that hold them together. Panels, inverters, optimisers and cabling come from your own supply chain, which keeps you free to choose any module brand.
All the common ones. The H-Type and L-Type systems handle pitched tiled and trapeze sheet roofs, while the Flat Roof system uses tilted, often ballasted frames for flat commercial and industrial surfaces. For unusual roofs or ground-mount projects, we can draw a custom profile.
Yes. Because we run our own extrusion line, we can design a die and press a profile specifically for your array’s span, tilt and load — not just adapt an off-the-shelf part. You can also combine standard modular components with bespoke pieces in the same order.
Each structure is sized to the loads of its installation site rather than sold as a generic part. Share your location, roof geometry and the expected wind and snow loading, and we specify rail spans, clamp spacing and fixings to suit.
Yes. We supply European and international clients, with the UK as a core market. Packaging and despatch are handled in-house so your components arrive complete and on schedule.
Structures are extruded from corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy (typically 6005-T6 / 6063) with A2 stainless steel fixings, available in mill or anodised finish — built for a 15-year-plus design life, including coastal and industrial environments.
